Dawn Richardson, MD, FACEP

She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychobiology from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, where she was a Sarah Williston Scholar and graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Richardson obtained her MD from Brown Medical School in Providence, RI, then completed her residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. The connections at Brown also went into the classroom, where Dr. Richardson was the clinical instructor of emergency medicine from 1999-2002 and 2005-2011. She was also a captain in the Air National Guard before being honorably discharged in 2003.

Dr. Richardson is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Richardson is employed by TeamHealth, an organization that provides Emergency Medicine coverage for Huggins Hospital.
