Huggins Hospital Welcomes Audrey Wehmeyer to Ossipee Family Medicine and Tamworth Family Medicine
Huggins Hospital welcomes Audrey Wehmeyer, PA-C, to both Ossipee Family Medicine and Tamworth Family Medicine. Wehmeyer will split her time between the two offices in order to increase the availability of primary care services in Ossipee and Tamworth.
Audrey has spent most of her career as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Nevada and Oregon but recently decided to move to New Hampshire, close to her husband’s family.
Audrey grew up on the West Coast and earned her BS in Biology from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. She then went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University in Meridian, Idaho.
Audrey has special interest in women’s health and pediatrics, including newborn care. She will spend 20 hours a week at each Ossipee Family Medicine and Tamworth Family Medicine.
Audrey is passionate about traveling the world. She spent a year with the Peace Corps in Africa and has backpacked in places like Mongolia and the country of Georgia. She also completed a solo hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2016.
Audrey loves to cross country ski and spend time outdoors. She and her husband hope to build a self-sustainable farm on their property in Madison.
