George Costello, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Costello is a surgeon with the Orthopedic Surgeons at Huggins Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Costello received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1982 and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA, in 1987. He has been Chief of Surgery at Huggins Hospital several times and President of the Medical Staff.

Dr. Costello is an active member of the Wolfeboro community. He’s an avid water skier who can be found out on the lake at sunrise just about every day in the summer.
