Cancer Support – “Woman to Woman” – Second Monday of every month from 7 to 8:30 PM in the Huggins Hospital Adult Day Program room. (Use the back Medical Arts parking lot and enter through the door marked "Adult Day Program.") Woman to Woman is for women with all types of cancers and at all phases of the treatment and healing process - from the newly diagnosed to the long-term survivor. Grief Support Groups/Bereavement Support Groups –
Central NH VNA & Hospice is offering two seperate Support Groups in Wolfeboro starting in June of 2018.
The first is the "Grief Support Group" for adults. This group meets on Tuesdays from 2 - 3:30 PM and runs from June 19 until July 31. It is a discussion group for adults who have lost a loved one at any age to any circumstance. It offers a weekly space to connect, learn about common grief experiences, discuss ways of coping with loss, and gain support of others in a safe, caring environment. The second is the "Parent Circle" for parents grieving a child. This group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month starting June 26. Meetings are from 6 - 7:30 PM at First Congregational Church, 115 South Main St., Wolfeboro. The non-religious group offers support for parents who have lost children at any age to any circumstance.
