Stop the Bleed is a one-hour training to teach what everyone should know to stop bleeding after an injury. This training can help community members save a life if ever in an emergency situation.

The national campaign was developed by the American College of Surgeons and The Committee on Trauma in the wake of the the tragic shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. Training will be provided by Huggins Hospital EMS and Emergency Management Coordinator Janet Williamson, BS, NRP, CICP.
