Leave a Legacy of Compassionate Care
Support the Huggins Hospital Endowment Through Planned Giving
Why I have named Huggins Hospital in my estate plans.
"My history with Huggins Hospital runs deep. My grandfather, Fred Clow, MD, was co-founder and physician. My father, W.J. Paul Dye, MD, FACS, was surgeon. My mother, Ethel, was administrator during part of WWII. I was a night nurse one summer. Later, for many years, I served as a mental health consultant. My family has continued to rely on Huggins for care. A few years ago, a Huggins surgeon saved my life.
Huggins well matches the competence of Yale Medical Center where I was a professional for many years. Huggins Hospital is a quiet gem deserving support and is, therefore, named in my will."

At Huggins Hospital, we are always planning for tomorrow while caring for our community today. Through the Compass Campaign, we’re strengthening our foundation for the future by growing our endowment fund—and you can be part of that enduring impact.
An endowment is a powerful, permanent resource. It ensures long-term stability and sustainability for Huggins Hospital, allowing us to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare for generations to come, no matter what the future holds.
Planned gifts—such as bequests, beneficiary designations, or charitable trusts—are thoughtful ways to make a lasting difference without impacting your finances today. During this three-year campaign, all planned gifts will be designated to grow our endowment, building a legacy of care for the Eastern Lakes Region.
When you commit to a planned gift during the Compass Campaign, you’ll become a member of The Anchor Society—a special circle of donors who are anchoring the future of local healthcare through their vision and generosity. Members receive exclusive recognition and opportunities to engage more deeply with the mission they’re sustaining.
Anchor Society members help ensure that Huggins Hospital will always be here—providing care, comfort, and healing for all who need us.
Let us know we are in your estate plans (we don’t need to know the details…), we would love to thank you!
