Tara McKenna, FNP-C

Tara is a provider in our Surgical Readiness Program. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of New Hampshire and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from St. Joseph’s College in Standish, ME. Tara has experience in many aspects of nursing including Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Cardiac Cardiovascular, Intensive Care and more. She also has experience as an adjunct clinical instructor for nursing students at the University of New Hampshire. Tara has a special interest and experience in treating women of all ages. She also enjoys treating children and making sure they have what they need to live a healthy life.  

When she is not working, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, their two daughters and their cat and dog. Tara has lived locally for over 20 years and is happy to be caring for members of her community.
